“Joaquin Salim's solo exhibition in Caracas, titled "Attention Deficit Disorder", consisted of 22 bi-dimensional pieces, a video-art section and an installation. The A.D.D. collection is influenced by his childhood struggle with attention deficit disorder, which led him to express himself through drawing and color. His art uses a methodology of reflection and self-criticism, incorporating visual elements such as collage, photography, and appropriated objects from daily life. Salim's work aims to address the multiple meanings of language and confront the prevalence of anti-values in contemporary society.”
